Journalist and memoirist Pythia Peay joins in “depth dialogue” about her book with Jungian-trained psychologist Diane Perlman for a discussion of WHY America elected Donald Trump President. What does this reveal about the psychology of the American people and of Trump himself, and about his drive to become president? What lies behind America’s historic romance with the gun? Other topics include alcoholism and drug abuse and the psychodynamics of terrorism. Peay’s book, based on her interviews with 37 of the world’s leading psycholgoists and psychoanalysts, reflects her two decades of continuing journey through America’s psyche.
