Dr. Jim Gordon
, the Founder and Director of The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, a clinical professor of psychiatry at Georgetown Medical School and a former chair of the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy, will discuss the use of Mind-Body Medicine to enhance health, address violence and fear, and heal population-wide psychological trauma.

Licensed Social Workers and Certified by The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, Fran Zamore and Michael Shea will offer clinical case studies on the benefits of Mind-Body Skills Groups. The program will provide the audience with an understanding of how and why Mind-Body practices have been so successful.
