Deborah Kalb, has worked as a journalist in Washington, D.C., for more than two decades. She has focused on covering Congress and politics as a writer and editor for various news organizations including Gannett News Service, Congressional Quarterly, The Hill, U.S. News, World Report, and the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. She is the co-author (with her father, acclaimed journalist Marvin Kalb) of Haunting Legacy: Vietnam and the American Presidency from Ford to Obama.
A graduate of Harvard University, where she majored in history, Deborah received a master’s degree in American Studies from Yale University. She is the author of The President and Me: George Washington and the Magic Hat – in which she takes her knowledge of presidential history in a different direction.
