Derek Chollet, former principal deputy director for policy planning for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, will speak about his new book about President Obama’s “long game” foreign policy.
Now senior adviser for security and defense policy at the German Marshall Fund of the United States, Chollet (a true diplomatic “wunderkind”) helped former Secretaries of State James Baker and Warren Christopher, Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, and Deputy Secretary of State Strobe Talbott write some of their books.
He now serves as adjunct senior research scholar at Columbia University’s Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies.
The book will be available for purchase and signing.
