Jason Dring is a Board Certified Geriatric Physical Therapist with offices at Iona Senior Services in Washington, DC. He will discuss with us the “normal” aging process and will challenge myths surrounding aging. He will identify “normal” strength, flexibility, balance, and cardiovascular stamina, and will address the frequency, intensity, and duration of exercise required to achieve change and maintain function. Jason explains and demonstrates various tests he uses to assess the most useful exercises for an individual – says older people can get stronger and improve balance in the interest of aging more safely.
Jason is inventive, imaginative and individualized in his approach to keeping us ‘elders’ moving! Approved for Medicare.
