We will gather to introduce our new officers with a special luncheon to follow. This year's officers have worked hard to continue restoring the house, and there are some impressive changes to take note of. We look forward to seeing you!
Against Violence Against Women is a journey through time and across the globe to bring to light the roots of sanctioned violence against women.
Celebrate the close of a busy season of great programs and exciting events. This event is open to prospective members and those who just want to learn about the WNDC! Enjoy barbecued ribs, chicken, & hamburgers with a selection of traditional sides. We'll have good beers, wines, and a nice Sangria. Please reserve and bring a guest!

Women (and other outsiders) are often treated in numerous unnoticed ways, such as getting less eye contact, less attention when they speak and are often interrupted more than their male peers. Sandler’s talk will describe these behaviors, as well as strategies for dealing with them because these behaviors play a major role in women’s lower pay and lack of promotion.
Drawing on forty years of congressional roll call votes as well as public opinion survey data, Religion, Politics, and Polarization argues that the ideologies of both the Democratic and Republican parties are grounded in religious values and beliefs that strongly influence the voting patterns of party members.
