Gun Prevention

A new report from the FBI reveals an increase in active-shooter incidents nationwide. Researchers identified 160 incidents meeting the bureau’s criteria—”an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a populated area”—from 2000 to 2013. The data reflects an annual average of 16.4 such incidents from 2006 to 2013, up from 6.4 from 2000 to 2006.)
