Long before Inequality became a major political issue, Jeff Faux was warning Americans about the shift of wealth from the vast majority to the very few rich. In his latest book, The Servant Economy, Faux shows how growing inequality is now built into our economic system. The book explains why it happened and how the avalanche of money into our political system blocks the path to a just and equitable society.
Jeff will expand on these themes to discuss how inequality corrupts our foreign as well as domestic policies, and what America might look like if these trends are not reversed – soon. He will raise the central question: Why do so many Americans vote against their own economic interests? The book will be available for purchase and signing.
