A panel on Prospects for 2017 and the Meaning of 2016
NEW DATE TBD
Thursday, November 10, 2016
TIME: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
EVENT TYPE: Panel Discussion
By November 10 (we hope) we will know who won/who lost and whether the results are razor-thin or landslide- large, or in-between tattle-tale gray.
WNDC is now assembling a panel of the wisest folks who can explain what just happened and will tease out the “meanings” of the election’s returns.
Among those invited are nationally known commentator and pollster Celinda Lake; young political reporter on “The Fix” team at the Washington Post, Aaron Blake; author, WNDC regular, former Clinton Administration advisor and now Brookings Institution senior fellow, Elaine Kamarck; CBS Radio News political analyst and professor of communications at American University, Leonard Steinhorn; shrewd political analyst and partner, Rothenberg-Gonzales Political Report, Nathan Gonzales; and director of the National Press Club, Bill McCarren.
Moderator: MaryEva Candon (WNDC Vice President for Administration, and super delegate to the 2016 DNC).
PRICE: Members $25/Non-Members $30 including buffet; $10 Lecture Only. Cash Bar.
