Ethelbert Miller has published several poetry collections and two memoirs and serves on the Board of the Community Foundation for the National Capital Region. He has been the editor of Poet Lore for 14 years, the oldest poetry magazine published in the United States. His recent honors include, in 2016, the AWP George Garrett Award for Outstanding Community Service in Literature and the DC Mayor’s Arts Award for Distinguished Honor and, in 2015, induction into the Washington, DC Hall of Fame. Miller currently serves on the faculty at the University of Houston/Victoria and hosts the weekly morning radio show On the Margin which airs on WPFW-FM 89.3. His latest book, The Collected Poems of E. Ethelbert Miller, covers over 40 years of his career as a poet, and will be on sale at the book signing following the program.

E. Ethelbert Miller will be interviewed by his Editor Kirsten Porter. Porter is a poet, freelance editor and  English professor at Marymount University.
