This program is dedicated to the memory of the late great Movement Organizer Paul Booth (see photo, credit: AFSCME).

From the beginning of US Labor movements, songs have played a vital role in energizing labor organizing and activities. In this program, which will include selected songs performed by a local group of singers, attendees are invited to sing along with the familiar oldies, hear some new ones, and discuss the subject of the role of songs in social movements and how it could or should be re-activated.
