Suffragette, a moving drama inspired by true events, explores the passion and heartbreak of women in early 20th century Britain, who were willing to lose everything to fight for equality and the right to vote.  They risked their jobs, their homes, their children, and even their lives.  Their civil disobedience sparked debate across the nation. When increasingly aggressive police action forced them underground, they engaged in a dangerous game of cat –and-mouse with authorities and sparked debates across the nation.

Three time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep and Academy Award nominees Carey Mulligan and Helena Bonham Carter head the cast.  Suffragette is directed by BAFTA award winner Sarah Gavron.
