Apr. 8 – Winning Wednesday on the Web

April’s first Winning Wednesday is here! This week we are rallying the vote in Georgia, and we have an exciting line-up of activities:

Training: Relational Organizing and how to effectively leverage your networks

Phone-banking: Georgia’s primary has been delayed. We will call registered voters to give them crucial information on how they can vote by mail. Now more than ever, we need our voters!

GOTV letters: We had planned to write letters later in the Fall encouraging people to get to the polls. But, we can use this down-time to write and stockpile them to send later in the year. This is a great opportunity to get a head start on the letters, which are positive social encouragement to vote, regardless of how we actually cast our ballots. (Keep your letters and we will collect them at the WNDC in the weeks to come.)

Text-banking: We continue to partner with Open Progress and #VOTEPROCHOICE to help them complete their mission to record voters’ attitudes on abortion. We are also in touch with other campaigns to identify opportunities for voter registration and vote-by-mail text-banking and will let you know when those become available.
