Helen Wan: The Partner Track: A Novel

May 4 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Thursday, May 4, 5:30–7:30 pm

As a young lawyer at a “BigLaw” firm in NYC, Helen Wan quickly observed how women in general, and women of color in particular, encountered the glass ceiling. So she decided to write The Partner Track, an acclaimed novel which has now turned into an equally acclaimed Netflix series. Hear her in conversation with Georgetown Law professor and podcast host Jonah Perlin about her journey from lawyer to author to television consultant — and her observations along the way about ways to truly promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, in the legal profession and beyond.

The cash bar will open at 5:30 pm, the program will run from 6:00–7:00, and there will be a book signing/reception from 7–7:30.

  • In-person with hors d’oeuvres: $20 for members; $25 for non-members
