*POSTPONED* Restorative Justice Workshop
April 27 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Thursday, April 27, 5:30–7:30 pm
In June 2021, WNDC presented a program on Restorative Justice provided by national member, Jane Nicholson (Chicago/Wisconsin). Rosalyn Coates, Esq. (WNDC Vice President) and Dr. Nicholson (Facilitator) are proposing that we continue our Club’s engagement with Restorative Justice by offering a 2-hour Peace Circle conversation to WNDC members and guests. We’ll gather to engage in conversations about lived experiences. These circle conversations grow organically as a sense of common interests emerges. With gentle facilitation, a sense of connectedness grows, along with a sense of how we’ll engage together going forward. There would be no cost for facilitation of the session, but there will be a cost if light refreshments are included in the program. We envision a gathering of a minimum of 8 to a maximum of 14 members and guests at the Club on Thursday evening, April 27, at 5:30 p.m. The initiative may evolve into a Circle Facilitators’ Certification Workshop so that members, guests and allies can facilitate circles in other organizations and communities to which they belong. If you missed the 2021 Zoom on Restorative Justice, or just want to refresh your memory, here is the link: https://youtu.be/IqqiwHk3UqM.
COME JOIN THE CIRCLE!! Please register here if you are interested in engaging in the introductory 2-hour Peace Circle on April 27, 2023.
