Professor Steven V. Roberts will give a book presentation on his latest book, available in November 2021, Cokie: A Life Well Lived concerning his wife Cokie Roberts, a cherished journalist and daughter of the late Lindy Boggs who served many terms as president of Woman’s National Democratic Club. Roberts will reflect on Cokie’s many accomplishments in addition to how she lived each day, how she was an inspiration and a role model for an immeasurable number of women, young and old, and her devotion to helping others.

Steve Roberts has been a journalist for more than fifty years. He is the author of My Father’s House and From This Day Forward, which he cowrote with Cokie. He is the chief political analyst for the ABC radio network, a professor of journalism and politics at George Washington University, and a nationally syndicated columnist. He lives in Cokie’s childhood home in suburban Washington, which he and Cokie shared for forty-two years.
