Tues, May 11 – Unexpected Art: FAPE and Cultural Diplomacy

In the next event in our Unexpected Art series, The Foundation for Art and Preservation in Embassies (FAPE) Director Jennifer Duncan will discuss the organization’s work over its thirty year history to promote diplomacy through the arts alongside the US State Department. Through site-specific art installations and their collection of original prints and photography by American artists and their preservation work at US Embassies around the world, FAPE has promoted and celebrated the important role art plays in diplomacy and cross-cultural understanding.
