Join us in celebrating the most diverse Cabinet in American history, reflecting on the gains that have been made, and dedicating ourselves to the important work ahead! We are honored to be joined by special guests Congressman Jamaal Bowman, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, and Congressman and House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn. Join our membership in sharing reactions to the first few months of the new Administration, toasting to the successes and progress made so far, and dedicating ourselves to the important work ahead.
This special hybrid event will offer a Zoom program concurrent with a in-person dinner at The Whittemore House. Dinner will be hosted in person at 7 pm, with the option of curbside pickup from 11:00 am–5:00 pm. In-person and virtual attendees will hear from our speakers digitally during the Zoom program throughout the evening. If you’re joining us for dinner at the Club, enjoy a glass of bubbly on us!
The Biden–Harris Administration has passed The American Rescue Plan, restored U.S. participation in the Paris Climate Change Accord, and revoked the permit for the Keystone XL Pipeline. Recently, the Administration signaled his support for an assault weapons ban. Coming so far from the previous administration in only a few months, we must consider what critical work we must undertake in the coming months.
