The activists of 20 years ago would hardly recognize the terms “reproductive rights of pregnant people” or “gun violence prevention” – the vocabulary of activism has changed with the times! PAC-Talks are where WNDC members can dig into topics that deserve a full hour of participation. This month, our in-house activists will lead a discussion about language, specifically around abortion and gun violence, and the way that words influence our advocacy’s impact. Let’s all learn how to be effective and empathetic activists.
