The Woman’s National Democratic Club cordially invites you to our virtual Champagne Celebration on Wednesday, January 20th, from 6:00–7:00 pm in honor of the Inauguration of President Biden and Vice President Harris. Join us for a memorable evening with fellow WNDC members and special guest speakers as we commemorate this historic moment. We will raise our glasses and toast the new Administration, including our first female Vice President, Kamala Harris. This event also features an Activism Marathon with sponsorship tiers to help bolster and empower our activism efforts – see image and registration link for more info.
Along with our activism marathon, we’re holding a live auction of two very special Ann Hand brooches pins, donated by equally special WNDC members: One is a discontinued pin featuring a wise owl holding a book, surrounded by multiple pearls – particularly meaningful this year, as “Pearls” is a moniker of AKA, VP Kamala Harris’s sorority. The other commemorates the 2021 Inauguration and features the Eagle surrounded by Biden and Harris names with a collar of crystals and one single pearl, retailed at $175.
For this event, a celebratory bubbly and chocolate package by the Chocolatier’s Palette, with the option of vegan fudge, will be available for curbside pick-up at the Club on January 19th for $50.
