Join us for this Hybrid event as rural-issues activist and writer Joe Belden draws on his years of experience working with housing and agriculture in rural America and discusses its important place in American politics.  Belden is the former Deputy Executive Director of the Housing Assistance Council.

The principal author of Housing in Rural America: Building Affordable and Inclusive Communities (Sage 1998) and Dirt Rich, Dirt Poor: America’s Food and Farm Crisis (Routledge 1986, rev. 2020), Belden is also the author of a number of other articles and reports.
