Jacky Rosen is running for the Senate in Nevada against Republican incumbent Dean Heller, known for backing Trump’s agenda 96% of the time in 2017. She’s got momentum, having been just named by the Washington Post as the most likely candidate to flip a seat in 2018!
Rosen has been a member of the House of Representatives for Nevada’s 3rd District since January 2017 and has lived in Nevada for nearly 40 years. She is the granddaughter of immigrants and grew up in a working-class family, holding two jobs to make ends meet. She broke barriers when she started her career as a computer programmer and software developer in the male-dominated tech industry. Later, Jacky stepped away from her career to take care of her aging parents and in-laws when they got sick.
“As the first in my family to graduate from college… I climbed a ladder forged by generations of Americans. President Trump is trying to pull up the ladder behind him, leaving the middle class stranded. Trump ridicules women, people of color, the LGBTQ community, immigrant families, and anyone who challenges him.”
In the House, she’s been rated one of the most bipartisan freshmen and is a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus. She has been a champion for early childhood education in STEM, especially for young girls. Let’s support Jacky Rosen and help her rock the Senate!
