Pege Gilgannon is a recent member of the WNDC having retired in 2016 from WJLA-TV after 42 years. She was a news photographer/editor, and her last 18 years was with DC Bureau Chief Sam Ford covering all wards of the District. To combat depression after Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign loss, Pege turned to WNDC to renew her inspiration and get back in the fight. She credits the energy and spirit of the women of the WNDC for making the Club her “happy place.”
