Join longtime presidential historian Stephen Hess in a discussion of his latest book, America’s Political Dynasties. The book offers an encyclopedic tour of families that have loomed large over America’s political history.
Mr. Hess is a senior fellow emeritus in Governance Studies at The Brookings Institution. He served on the White House staff during the Eisenhower and Nixon presidencies and as advisor to Presidents Ford and Carter. Mr. Hess also was distinguished research professor of media and public affairs at George Washington University. His numerous books, now translated into 30 languages, include The Professor and the President: Daniel Patrick Moynihan in the Nixon White House.”
