Get ready to be inspired! As the first member of Gen Z to take on a national leadership role within the DNC, Hogg challenges Americans to stand up, speak out, and work to elect morally just leaders. “We have to stop being cowards—it’s time to be bold, aggressive, and to fight—just like we did after Parkland,” he says. “We need to show them who we are again, to rid our party of its judgmental attitudes, and do the work to win back every group we lost this year, from the working class to young people.”
Hogg was thrust into the world of activism in 2018 after surviving the largest school shooting in American history at his high school in Parkland, Florida. He has since become one of the most compelling voices of his generation. Alongside his classmates and fellow survivors, Hogg co-founded March For Our Lives, one of the world’s preeminent youth-led movements. In 2023, Hogg and Kevin Lata, Rep. Maxwell Frost's 2022 campaign manager, joined forces to found Leaders We Deserve. LWD is dedicated to recruiting, training, and funding the campaigns of young progressives running for Congress and state legislatures across the country. |
