Join us on Thursday, January 15, for a screening of “The Day Iceland Stood Still,” a powerful and inspiring documentary that chronicles a historic moment of collective action. The film tells the story of the day Icelandic women shut down the country by going on strike to demand equality, transforming the national conversation around women’s rights and social justice.

Through compelling storytelling and firsthand accounts, “The Day Iceland Stood Still” highlights the power of solidarity and the impact of organized, peaceful resistance. This timely documentary serves as a reminder of what is possible when people come together to stand up for equity and lasting change.
