Jessica Mackler, President of EMILYs List, will join the Woman’s National Democratic Club for a conversation on the 2026 election landscape and the role of women in shaping the nation’s political future.
She will discuss the importance of the upcoming midterm elections in protecting democratic institutions and advancing key policy priorities, highlight critical races where women candidates are running for office, and explore the impact of women voters, candidates, and donors in determining electoral outcomes. She will offer recommendations on what audience members can do now for women’s rights and for the country. The program will also touch on the work of EMILYs List in supporting pro-choice women candidates.
EVENT DETAILS:
Mackler is a veteran Democratic strategist with more than two decades of experience winning tough campaigns. She helped lead EMILYs List's electoral strategy during a historic 2022 cycle that elected a record number of governors, held the U.S. Senate, sent 17 new women to Congress, and flipped four state legislative chambers. Before rejoining EMILYs List in 2021, Mackler served as President of American Bridge 21st Century and led major independent expenditure efforts for the Democratic Governors Association and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
