Join WNDC as we celebrate our members at our May Birthday Luncheon, followed by a special conversation with Rep. Suzan DelBene (WA-1) on the battle to win back the majority in the House of Representatives.

As chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), she’s leading that fight. She will address the winning issues of the 2026 election: building an economy that works for everyone, lowering costs, and defending the rights and freedoms guaranteed to all of us. Drawing on her work in Congress and leadership on the Ways and Means Committee, she will highlight the importance of bipartisan solutions and forward-looking policy in strengthening economic security.

EVENT DETAILS:

  • Remarks and Q&A, in-person and via Zoom.
  • 11:30 a.m. cash bar opens, 12-1 p.m. lunch (optional), 1–1:30 p.m. Discussion.
  • $10 lecture or Zoom only, $30 members and $40 guests for lunch (plus tax).

Before her election to Congress in 2012, DelBene built a successful career in the private sector, including 12 years at Microsoft and leadership roles at emerging companies. Appointed by Gov. Chris Gregoire to lead the Washington State Department of Revenue in 2010, she worked to improve efficiency and support economic growth during a challenging fiscal period. In Congress, she has focused on policies to support working families, strengthen communities, and expand opportunity.
