Join Kelly Dietrich for an inside look at an outstanding candidate training program that this year alone has helped 77 Democrats win their elections. As founder and CEO of the National Democratic Training Committee (NDTC), Dietrich has more than 25 years of experience on dozens of Democratic campaigns across the country. NDTC is the best-kept secret in Democratic politics. It offers free training to any Democrat who wants to run for office, work on a campaign, or just make their community better. Over the past 10 years, NDTC has trained more than 130,000 people across all 50 states, building the pipeline of talent that powers lasting change. With hundreds of free courses, Zoom trainings, videos, and articles available on demand, NDTC meets Democrats where they are with the tools, skills, and confidence they need to win. So far in 2026, NDTC has helped 77 Democrats win their elections. NDTC works hard to break down barriers for anyone interested in stepping up, and more than 60% of NDTC-trained candidates are women. NDTC is committed to ensuring that every Democrat who steps up to lead has the tools, skills, and confidence to win. EVENT DETAILS:
Dietrich started NDTC in 2016 as a collection of videos covering an array of campaign topics, available to campaigns and their volunteers for free. Five years later, those videos grew into a full-fledged training program with hundreds of courses, videos, and articles about running effective campaigns. With expertise in various areas: fundraising, staff training, and more, Dietrich has shaped NDTC into an industry leader in Democratic politics. He remains committed to making sure high quality tools and training are available to any Democrat who steps up to run for office, work on a campaign, or make their community better.
