Join us for this special docent-led tour of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. America’s national institution for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history, the museum serves as this country’s memorial to the millions of people murdered during the Holocaust.
In observance of its 25th anniversary, the museum recently opened a special exhibition, “Americans and the Holocaust.”
The Museum is located on the National Mall, just south of Independence Avenue, SW, between 14th Street and Raoul Wallenberg Place (15th Street). The nearest Metro stop is the Smithsonian Station on the Orange, Blue, and Silver lines, one block east of the Museum. A paid parking garage is across the street, on D Street SW, between 13th and 14th Streets, and some metered parking is along Independence Avenue.
