Karen Beasley, a Washington, DC native and retired special education teacher, has performed in over 50 theatrical productions, plus assorted concerts and cabarets.  She has sung at the Clinton White House and performed for a private party at the Rainbow Room in New York City. Greg Parker began taking piano lessons at age 9. He continued to play through high school and accompanied voice and instrumental majors at JMU. He and Karen began performing together over 15 years ago, and he accompanied Karen at the Rainbow Room in New York.

This event will help you get to know Karen while enjoying numbers from A Chorus Line, Finian’s Rainbow, Les Miserables, and more; from Cole Porter to Stephen Schwartz to Leonard Bernstein. Karen and Greg offer some of their favorites from Broadway, from touching to humorous, from the sublime to the ridiculous. Join us for an evening of familiar and not-so-familiar Broadway gems.
