WNDC is proud to honor our local sheroes: the women who have served Washington, D.C., in elective office since the advent of Home Rule. Join a celebration of current and former mayors, council members, and school board members who helped shape our local government and continue defending our rights. We will personally greet Mayor Muriel Bowser and former Mayor Sharon Pratt, together with our five current and nine former women Council members.
