The AMA Committee is pleased to present "Travels With My Brush: Landscapes Real and Imagined" by Terry Birkel. This exhibition features vibrantly colored landscapes inspired by Birkel’s travels through the American West, Maine, Ireland, and Cape May. His works explore color, pattern, and form across both real and imagined terrains, often incorporating shifting clouds and dramatic lighting to evoke an emotional response in the viewer. Birkel works primarily in oil on canvas for his larger pieces, while smaller works are rendered in gouache and pastel. Across the collection, viewers are invited to experience a sense of wonder and connection to the natural world.
