Strategies To Get Out the Vote: A Conversation With Andrea Miller

Voting is power! Join Andrea Miller, nationally recognized voting rights advocate and executive director of the Center for Common Ground, for an inspiring and action-oriented conversation on how to reconnect voters with the ballot box and their own interests. 

Since 2018, the Center for Common Ground has empowered voters of color across the Southeast through voter education, outreach, and mobilization efforts including postcards, phone calls, canvassing, and text messaging. Rather than promoting candidates, their work reminds voters why they vote. 

This unique strategy focuses on voters who have disengaged and people at risk of being purged from the registered voter rolls. When those voters are reminded of their voice, they often become local ambassadors for democracy, re-energizing their friends, family, and neighbors to show up at the polls.
