Why did so many working-class voters shift from voting Democrat to supporting Trump? How can Democrats win them back? Together, Democratic strategists Celinda Lake and Mike Lux will present their findings from extensive research and polling to understand working-class voters, offering insights into what made Trump appealing, why Democrats lost ground, and how to reconnect with working-class voters. Their findings are essential for Democrats aiming to build electoral success in 2026 and beyond.

Lake, a top national pollster, has conducted extensive research into voter behavior and motivations behind Trump’s appeal. Lux, a progressive leader and strategist, has analyzed why working-class communities became disillusioned with Democratic messaging.
