What if the most courageous freedom fighters in American history were the ones you’ve never heard of? Step into the untold stories of abolitionists who risked everything to fight injustice and whose names history tried to erase.

Join us for a powerful evening of history, reflection, and inspiration as we explore the groundbreaking book, “In Defiance: 20 Abolitionists You Were Never Taught in School, with co-authors Amilcar Shabazz and Tom Weiner. Their stirring work uncovers the lives of 20 extraordinary individuals whose courage and sacrifice changed the course of history. Through vivid storytelling and historical insight, Shabazz and Weiner bring these erased voices back into the light, challenging us to honor the abolitionists' memory with action.
