When satire is silenced and journalists are pressured, what happens to democracy? WNDC invites you to a timely and powerful talk by former ABC correspondent Lisa Stark on the growing threats to freedom of the press. When Disney pulled Jimmy Kimmel's late-night talk show, Stark rallied 100 former ABC employees to sign a letter calling, on the company to publicly defend journalists under political attacks and resist government pressure.

In an era marked by political intimidation and media suppression, Stark shares what moved her to speak out after Disney temporarily suspended "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and why this moment poses a serious challenge to First Amendment protections. Don’t miss this urgent conversation about the future of a free press.
